A lot of people assume you need years of experience or a finance background to break into insurance sales. You don’t. What you do need is the drive to learn, the discipline to follow a system, and the genuine desire to help people make smart decisions about their health and financial futures.
As a health, life and Medicare insurance sales agent with the Stern Team, your day might include following up with leads provided to you, meeting with clients virtually or in person to walk them through their coverage options, and building relationships that turn into referrals. You’re not cold-calling strangers from a script,you’re having real conversations with people who are already looking for help.
Do I Need a License to Apply?
No. We welcome both licensed and unlicensed candidates. If you don’t yet have your Virginia health and life insurance license, we’ll help guide you through the process. Licensing is more straightforward than most people expect, it involves completing a pre-licensing education course, passing the state exam, and submitting your application. Most motivated candidates complete this process within a few weeks.
If you’re already licensed, you can hit the ground running with access to leads, marketing support, and one-on-one mentorship from day one.
